My Voting Card
• GOP Nominee for President: If you don’t know by now, you never will (Pssst — Go Mitt!)
• Yes No on Prop 91: Transportation Funding. Initiative Constitutional Amendment and Statute.
- Prohibits Sacramento from raiding our highway taxes to paper over their budget deficits.
- Ooops, actually I voted No since this measure had already been voted on in November 2006 under Prop 1A (checked my notes and unconfused myself) — Prop 1A was approved by 77% of us Californians (including me, but you couldn’t tell with my onset of memory loss).
• No on Prop 92: Community Colleges. Funding. Governance. Fees. Initiative Constitutional Amendment and Statute.
- Another entitlement this bankrupt state of California can ill afford.
• No on Prop 93: Limits on Legislators’ Terms in Office. Initiative Constitutional Amendment.
- This is the nasty one since it is really is an extension of terms for our duplicitous Sacramento legislators — we need to run the bums out of town!
• No on Props 94-97: Referendum Petition to Overturn Amendment to Indian Gaming Compact.
- Governor SchwarzenKennedy is for ‘em — need I say more?
OK, to be fair, McClintock supports the gaming initiatives as well, but I want to make gaming in California as complicated as possible for our politicians for letting this plague come across the state line in the first place.
But, really, I’m a positive guy at heart!
