Biden Tells Supporters Obama Not Ready to be President
Incredible:
Here we have Barack Obama’s running mate declaring that if Obama is elected, “we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.” Biden even doubts that Obama will respond to the crisis in a way that inspires confidence. He tells Obama’s supporters that Obama is “gonna need you - not financially to help him - we’re gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it’s not gonna be apparent initially, it’s not gonna be apparent that we’re right.” Does anyone really need any additional reasons not to vote for Obama? (If so, there are lots of them.)Please remind me: Then why are we supposed to vote for this clown? UPDATE: William Kristol sees the new ad for McCain in the final two weeks:
UPDATE II: Ed Morrissey looks at history and JFK. UPDATE III: Don't Worry -- We Survived the Cuban Missile Crisis. The confidence is overwhelming! UPDATE IV: More history:Here's the ad, simply quoting Joe Biden, speaking at a fundraiser in Seattle Sunday:
Mark my words...It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama...Remember I said it standing here if you don't remember anything else I said. Watch, we're gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy....And he's gonna need help....Because it's not gonna be apparent initially, it's not gonna be apparent that we're right.
Based upon the impression that Khrushchev took from that dreadful performance by President Kennedy, the Berlin wall and the Cuban missile crisis followed as night follows dusk.
