Obama Ignores Request of Fallen Soldier’s Family
Take Off the Bracelet, Senator:
The family behind Obama’s bracelet would prefer he stop wearing it. But if he’s going to wear it, the least he could do, I think, is commit the name to memory.
More Important than a Bracelet:
While some are looking for confirmation whether Mrs. Jopek had asked Senator Obama to stop wearing (or using it) her son’s wristband, what all are ignoring is Sergeant Jopek supported the mission in Iraq and died supporting a cause he believed in. That is Obama’s greatest shame, that he has always failed to say that SGT Jopek gave all in a cause he believed in.
Yet that is just like what the liberal media failed to say when they propped up Cindy Sheehan. Not once to date in over 150 entries has the NY Times mentioned that Casey Sheehan 1) reenlisted knowing he would be deployed to Iraq, 2) volunteered for the rescue mission he died during, and 3) when told he did not have to volunteer, replied, “Where my Chief goes, I go.” (‘Chief’ is the formal title for the head of a maintenance section in the U.S. Army. Casey Sheehan was a mechanic).
If This is True, Obama Has a Serious Problem:
It is almost unbelievable that Obama would refuse the wishes of the family, so the MSM should give the Democratic nominee an opportunity to respond as soon as possible.
The Antique Media will not even bring this up.
And as if we needed to be reminded, Obama has no shame.
More from Kim Priestap:
What a callous and cruel thing to do to anyone, let alone to one of your own supporters, for Pete’s sake. Jopek’s mother asked Obama to stop wearing the bracelet because it was supposed to be only between the two of them and not for public consumption. Obama, however, went back on that request because politics is simply more important than the request of a dead soldier’s family. Because she’s one of his supporters, it seems he’s just going to continue to wear it, banking on the fact she won’t say anything to hurt his candidacy. Obama is an arrogant, selfish, and self-consumed jerk.
So will we see this picked up by the mainstream media? Not a snowball’s chance in hell.
