Fox News Reporters Released

Outstanding! Michelle Malkin has much, much more (including the forced conversion). As Michelle notes:
This story is far from over.
UPDATE: Allah has more including speculation over what the terrorists received to free the hostages.
They worked out a convoluted deal which entailed their public conversion to Islam, an anti-American harangue on air and a six-figure cash ransom paid under the table to Dughmush to fund his terrorist militia’s operations in Gaza.
We shall see. UPDATE II: Alexandra von Maltzan and Omri Ceren discuss forced conversion.
Being forced to convert is a harm. It might be the oldest harm short of death - being forced to renounce your faith and your god. Millions of people - literally millions - have died rather than deign to utter words that would force them to give up their faith.
Initially I was simply relieved for both of them while trying to learn more about this forced conversion. Having watched the video, and one has to agree with Alexandra and Omri. What would I do? What would you do? What would the terrorist have done if we had said No to renouncing Jesus Christ? UPDATE III: La Shawn Barber is asking also:
Christians, what would you do if some maniac held a gun to your head and asked you to deny Christ or do? Would you deny the Savior? . . . Until Christ returns, his followers will be martyred for the faith. If ever faced with deny-or-die, I’d choose to be among those asking, “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?”
UPDATE IV: David Frum consults Article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (Frum emphasis added):
Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance.
And he hears only crickets. . . . More Recent Updates: Brit Hume on the Religion of Peace
