More Hezbollah human shields die and the propagandist Kofi Annan and lazy Media blame Israel. Charles Johnson provides the facts as well as asks questions that the Antique Media are not asking -- and before we can trust anything from the Antique Media, we must ask Why they are not asking. The facts as reported by the Associated Press (emphasis added):

QANA, Lebanon (AP) - Israeli missiles hit several buildings in a southern Lebanon village as people slept Sunday, killing at least 56, most of them children, in the deadliest attack in 19 days of fighting. Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert expressed “great sorrow” for the airstrikes but blamed Hezbollah guerrillas for using the area to launch rockets at Israel.

There are two questions that follow from this: One, how does the AP know they were sleeping (are they reporting Hezbollah propoganda without independent confirmation)? Two, why are children still in Qana? After all, the civilians have been told to leave days ago. The IDF reiterated this fact again today (emphasis added):

In a statement released on Sunday, the IDF said that as a result of Katyusha rocket attacks, 18 Israelis had been killed and hundreds of others wounded. “The responsibility for the harm to Lebanese civilians falls on Hizbullah, which uses civilians has human shields,” the statement read. The officer said that the air force had been targeting the village for the past three days and on Saturday night struck ten different targets inside the village. He said the building hit Sunday was picked since intelligence indicated that Hizbullah guerillas were hiding inside together with Katyusha rockets and launchers. “We have been attacking in Qana for three days,” the high-ranking IAF officer said. “They have fired dozens of rockets from there over the past week at Kiryat Shmona, Afula and Ma’alot.” The officer said that the guerillas fire rockets and then flee into nearby buildings. “We warned the residents that we would be attacking there,” he said. “We work under the assumption that the villages are empty and that whoever is there is affiliated with the Hizbullah.”

Let's review the bidding here -- Hezbollah has been launching rockets and the IDF has been targeting Qana. And people were sleeping? Enough of that Hezbollah-supplied propaganda to a very lazy Associated Press. Here is what the IDF has been informing those in southern Lebanon: Translation:

To all citizens south of the Litani River Due to the terror activities being carried out against the State of Israel from within your villages and homes, the IDF is forced to respond immediately against these activities, even within your villages. For your safety! We call upon you to evacuate your villages and move north of the Litani River.

Translation: Get Out. If they are still there, who is to blame (besides Hezbollah, Syria and Iran)? Two more critical pieces of evidence showing Hezbollah using civilians as shields. First, the Australian Herald Sun shows photographs of Hezbollah terrorists in civilian and suburban areas. Second, remember how huffy Kofi Annan got when the IDF hit a UN Observer station? Well, could it be because the UN is protecting and allowing Hezbollah to use the UN as a shield, and he does not want that fact to become public (emphasis added)?

There were two direct impacts on UNIFIL positions from the Israeli side in the past 24 hours. Eight artillery and mortar rounds impacted inside an Indian battalion position in the area of Hula, causing extensive material damage, but no casualties. One artillery round impacted the parameter wall of the UNIFIL Headquarters in Naqoura. There were five other incidents of firing close to UN positions from the Israeli side. It was also reported that Hezbollah fired from the vicinity of five UN positions at Alma Ash Shab, At Tiri, Bayt Yahoun, Brashit, and Tibnin. All UNIFIL positions in the area of operation remain permanently occupied and maintained by the troops. UNIFIL dispatched three logistic convoys to resupply some positions yesterday. Additional convoys are planned for today, particularly to the forward positions in the eastern and central sectors which are facing critical shortages of basic supplies. The number of troops in some Ghanaian battalion positions is somewhat reduced because of the increased safety risk for the troops due to frequent incidents of Hezbollah firing from the vicinity of the positions, and shelling and bombardment close to the positions from the Israeli side.

And not a word from Kofi when Hezbollah fires on the UN Observers. Fire Kofi Annan now -- he is one propagandist too many in that sick organization. It is also time to say Farewell to the United Nations. Continuing to support such ammorality only helps the enemy in the Global War on Terror.
